About this piece
Jagannath Mahaprabhu as Puri loves him: the black round face with the great white eyes ringed in red, the gentle red smile and the Vaishnava tilak, under a tall gold crown set with red stones and a peacock feather. The arm-stumps carry the chakra and the shankha; a yellow-and-red pleated dress with green borders falls below garlands of red, white and green flowers. The black base reads Jai Jagannath. For the home mandir, the car dashboard, the desk, or a Rath Yatra and Kartik gift. Hand-cast in resin and hand-painted one at a time in Kolkata, 10 cm to 20 cm.

How it is made
Each Jai Jagannath — Mahaprabhu is 3D modelled, printed in resin at the size you choose, cleaned, cured, and then hand-painted one piece at a time in our Kolkata studio. Because the colour is laid on by hand, no two pieces are identical.
