About this piece

Byomkesh Bakshi as Sharadindu wrote him: cross-legged in the cane armchair of the Harrison Road mess, phone at one ear, cigarette in the other hand, the book he was reading still open on his knee. Books stacked by the chair, a shawl over the arm, the brass plate on the plinth. Hand-cast in resin.

How it is made

Each Byomkesh Bakshi is 3D modelled, printed in resin at the size you choose, cleaned, cured, and then hand-painted one piece at a time in our Kolkata studio. Because the colour is laid on by hand, no two pieces are identical.
