Two ways to order
1 · You have a 3D file
Drop an STL, OBJ, GLB, 3MF or PLY file, up to 100 MB. You will see your model turning in 3D in the browser, pick a height from 8 cm to 20 cm, choose hand-painted colour or raw grey resin, and choose how solid it should be. The price is calculated from your model's real volume and surface area, not a rough guess. Then we check the mesh, repair holes and flipped faces, remove loose specks and confirm the final price on WhatsApp before anything is printed.
2 · You only have a photo
Send a clear photo of a person, a pet, a deity or an object. We sculpt the 3D model, send you a preview to approve, then print it in resin and hand-paint it. Most gift orders take this route.
What it costs
| Height | Hand-painted | Raw grey resin |
|---|---|---|
| 8 cm | from Rs 1,269 | from Rs 889 |
| 12 cm | from Rs 2,199 | from Rs 1,539 |
| 14 cm | from Rs 2,709 | from Rs 1,899 |
| 20 cm | from Rs 4,379 | from Rs 3,069 |
Bulky models that need more resin cost a little more, and that difference is shown to you before you order.
Why resin, and why hand-painted
A figurine lives or dies on its face. Resin cures at a far finer resolution than FDM plastic, so eyes, fingers, jewellery and cloth folds stay sharp, and paint sits on it properly. Every Amurtaya piece is painted by hand, one at a time, which is why no two are identical.
What we print
Deity idols, portrait figurines from photographs, characters from Bengali literature, miniatures for a desk or a car dashboard, prototypes, replacement parts and display models. If you are not sure whether your model will print, upload it — the site tells you if a wall is too thin at the size you picked.

How much does 3D printing cost in India?
At Amurtaya a hand-painted resin piece starts at about Rs 1,269 for 8 cm and goes to about Rs 4,379 for 20 cm. If you upload your own 3D file, the price is worked out from the real volume of your model, the size you choose and how much resin it needs, and it appears on screen in a few seconds. There is no minimum order and no signup.
What files can I upload?
STL, OBJ, GLB, 3MF and PLY, up to 100 MB. If your file is in another format, convert it first or send it on WhatsApp and we will convert it for you. We check the mesh, repair holes and flipped faces, and tell you if any wall is too thin to survive printing.
Can you make a 3D model from a photo?
Yes. Send one clear photo of the person, pet or object and we sculpt a 3D model from it, send you a preview to approve, then print and hand-paint the piece. This is the route most customers take for gifts.
Which is better for a figurine, resin or FDM plastic?
Resin. FDM printers lay down plastic in visible layers, which is fine for brackets and enclosures but shows on a face. Resin cures layer by layer at a much finer resolution, so eyes, fingers, jewellery and cloth folds come out sharp, and it takes paint far better.
Do you ship across India?
Yes, from Kolkata to anywhere in India. Each piece is cast to order, so the usual wait is 5 to 7 days for the piece plus shipping time.
Can I get a piece in plain resin instead of painted?
Yes. Every piece is offered in hand-painted colour or in raw grey resin, which costs about 30 percent less. Some people prefer the plain version for a desk or to paint themselves.
