About this piece
Samaresh Basu’s Gogol, the schoolboy detective who finds trouble on every holiday: yellow shirt, jeans, canvas backpack and binoculars, peering around the corner of an old stone stairway. Coil of rope, a map and a magnifying glass on the flagstones beside him. Hand-cast in resin, brass-look GOGOL plate on the plinth.

How it is made
Each Gogol is 3D modelled, printed in resin at the size you choose, cleaned, cured, and then hand-painted one piece at a time in our Kolkata studio. Because the colour is laid on by hand, no two pieces are identical.
