About this piece

Swapan Kumar’s Dipak Chatterjee, the two-fisted hero of Bengal’s pulp thrillers: trench coat flying, red tie loose, a pistol in each hand, braced across a broken brick wall. Hurricane lantern burning below, an old barrel and scattered case papers in the rubble. Hand-cast in resin, brass-look DIPAK CHATTERJEE plate on the plinth.

How it is made

Each Dipak Chatterjee is 3D modelled, printed in resin at the size you choose, cleaned, cured, and then hand-painted one piece at a time in our Kolkata studio. Because the colour is laid on by hand, no two pieces are identical.
