About this piece
Dashabhuja, the ten-armed Durga as the Bengal potter shapes her: a white saree with a red border drawn over her head, the sabeki face with wide eyes, ten arms fanned out in blessing. Her foot rests on the lion, who has Mahishasura pinned to the checkered floor of the plinth, green-skinned and still struggling. Hand-cast in resin and hand-painted one at a time in Kolkata, 10 cm to 20 cm.

How it is made
Each Dashabhuja — Maa Durga is 3D modelled, printed in resin at the size you choose, cleaned, cured, and then hand-painted one piece at a time in our Kolkata studio. Because the colour is laid on by hand, no two pieces are identical.
