About Amurtaya
Amurtaya is a small studio in Kolkata. We give form to the formless: deities, characters and people, sculpted in 3D, cast in resin, and painted by hand, one piece at a time.
What we make
Two things. Ready-made pieces you can order from the collection — Durga and other deities, and figurines of Bengali literary characters. And custom work — send a photo and we sculpt it, or upload your own 3D file and we print it.
How a piece is made
The model is built in 3D and checked for thin walls that would break in resin. It is printed at the height you picked, washed, cured, and the supports are cut away by hand. Then it is primed and painted, layer by layer, with the details picked out last. A 360 degree video is sent to you before the piece is packed.
Where we are
Kolkata, West Bengal. We ship across India. Questions are answered on WhatsApp at +91 86997 71441, usually the same day.
The name
